About Atonement
Atonement is one of the oldest guilds on the Uther server. We were originally formed during classic WoW in June 2005 to "fix" what was wrong with the hard core raiding guilds: too much time investment, attendance requirements, DKP decay, and so on. Our plan was to atone for the sins of those hard core guilds, and thence our name. We have at our core a highly-skilled and well-geared group of individuals who are looking to make new friends that also desire end game raiding experiences. We emphasize above all else a commitment to raiding excellence enveloped in a happy guild environment and casual schedule.
Raid Times
We run 25man raids Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday. We may run 10man raids Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays depending on lock-outs. We do run old fun achievement raids every so often. All raids invites happen for people at 6:10PM Uther-time. Raids end at or around 9:00PM. We run BH-25 as a guild on Wednesdays if possible. Only guild members are invited to raids.
Follow these instructions to ask to join!
- Register for an account on the forums. We get dozens of spambot forum signups each day, so act human and use your main Warcraft character name. We do verify it!
- Check back in a day or less. Your account will be activated. Roglof checks this religiously!
- When your account is activated, reply to this thread with your "application". Do not be concerned that the post disappears.
- If you application is accepted, expect to be contacted.
- It is quite possible you may be invited to the guild, promoted to the rank of Neophyte, invited to the raid, and summoned. Please be ready on raid nights.
- Ventrilo information is found by clicking the in-game guild info button.
You can also talk with an officer or class leader and wrangle an ginvite. Follow the above to get a forum account. Everyone in guild uses the forums!
